Account and sign-in
Sign-in, mandatory two-factor, passkeys, devices, password and deleting your account.
Everything about your account is in the dashboard under Settings. The Profil tab holds sign-in and security, your devices and account deletion, the Plan tab your subscription.
The platform's interface is in German. This page names buttons and tabs as they appear on screen and explains them in English.
Sign-in
Sign-in runs through our identity service Auth0. Your password is stored only there and never in our own database. One sign-in covers every area of the platform: dashboard, QuantDesk, Journal, Teams and these docs.
Two-factor sign-in
Two-factor sign-in is mandatory for every account and cannot be switched off. You set it up with an authenticator app the first time you open the dashboard. After that, every sign-in asks for the code. There is deliberately no option for a device to remember the second factor.
Passkey
Instead of password and code you can use a passkey: Face ID, Windows Hello or your fingerprint. The sign-in page offers it to you. A passkey counts as a full two-factor sign-in.
Lost your authenticator
If you no longer have access to your authenticator app, Support resets the second factor. Write to us through Support in the dashboard or at support@gmjd-consulting.com.
Changing your password
Under Settings → Profil → Anmeldung und Sicherheit (sign-in and security) you request a link. We send it to your email address, and you set the new password through it.
Devices
The Geräte (devices) card shows where your account is signed in: this device first, then the most recently active ones. You can end single sessions or all other sessions at once. A new device appears after its next sign-in.
Activity calendar
The activity calendar remembers on which days you used the platform. You can switch it off in your profile. All stored days are then deleted immediately.
Deleting your account
You delete your account under Settings → Profil. It takes two steps:
- You confirm with a fresh sign-in including the second factor.
- We email you a link that is valid for one hour. Only clicking it deletes the account.
Deletion is final. Your account and all its data are gone afterwards. A running subscription is cancelled immediately, without a credit for the remaining term. If you want to use the time you paid for, cancel at the end of the term first and delete the account afterwards, see Billing.
